Dorset Archaeology & Heritage Forum

The Forum is a Community Interest Organisation (CIO) and registered Charity designed to promote the archaeology, history and landscape heritage of Dorset.
Our aim is: to advance education, for the public benefit, in the archaeology, history and landscape heritage of the County of Dorset by supporting and promoting research, further understanding and the dissemination of knowledge to the public.
You can support the Forum by becoming a member and enjoy the benefits of being part of DAHF.
Awarding grants to help enhance our understanding of Dorset's rich archaeological heritage is a core tenet of the Forum's work. Here you can find out the projects we are supporting and how you might apply.
This section will also shine a light on the regular DAHF awards which celebrate the stand-out work of individuals, communities and organisations.
We plan a wide ranging programme of events including public talks, conferences, workshops, and more. All the very latest news on these and other Forum activities are featured here.
As well as supporting member projects, we also aim to drive our own programme of research with projects spanning the archaeological and heritage disciplines.
You can support the Forum in a number of ways, and direct donations are very welcome to help fund our work for the community.
